Spicy Roasted Cauliflower

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (1 ½ lb) head cauliflower, cored and cut into florets
  • 3 tbsp SY Herbal Blend olive oil
  • Pinch of kosher salt
  • Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ cup hot sauce (use your favorite! We love Crystal Hot Sauce
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • Celery leaves, for garnish

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 425 F.

2. Pile the cauliflower on a large rimmed baking sheet, drizzle with SY Herbal Blend olive oil, and toss until evenly coated.

3. Season with salt, pepper, crushed red pepper, and garlic powder. Toss until evenly coated. Spread into a single layer.

4. Roast, stirring once, until the cauliflower is tender and nicely caramelized on the edges, about 20 minutes.

5. While the cauliflower roasts, in a small saucepan over medium low heat, warm the hot sauce and butter, stirring often, until the butter is melted. Pour into a small bowl.

6. Transfer the cauliflower to a shallow serving bowl. Serve the sauce alongside or drizzle it over the top.

7. Garnish with celery leaves and serve warm.
